The ANC has condemned an attack on some of its members at a commemoration event in KwaCeza in Nongoma in northern KwaZulu-Natal yesterday. President Cyril Ramaphosa and AmaZulu King Misuzulu kaZwelithini were commemorating the death of King Dinuzulu kaCetshwayo. In a statement, the ANC alleges that some of its members were attacked by IFP members, who were bused in from a hostel. The attack follows tensions that played out between ANC KwaZulu-Natal leader, Siboniso Duma and AmaZulu Traditional Prime Minister, Thulasizwe Buthelezi.
